- At Lamantia dental we offer dental treatment using Nitrous-Oxide (Laughing Gas) and Oral Sedation (sedative medication).
- Nitrous oxide is an inhalational gas that can induce a state of calm/relaxation. We can increase/decrease the level of relaxation as needed during the procedure. Treatment with laughing gas alone allows you to drive to and from the appointment on your own.
- Oral sedation uses a sedative pill instead of a gas. This induces a deeper level of calm than nitrous oxide with patients often not recalling the procedure. This mode of sedation requires a ride to and from the office.
