Dental Emergencies
Dental emergencies happen, most often at the most inopportune moments. Emergencies can include broken/chipped teeth, lost/missing/broken fillings, trauma, swelling/infection, or pain.
Treatment of dental emergencies often revolves around providing an emergency procedure to control or remove the immediate source of pain. More permanent / long-term solutions are often needed once the emergency has been dealt with and symptoms subsided.
Some dental emergencies can quickly become medical emergencies. If you are experiencing any swelling under the jaw or around the neck that is affecting your ability to breathe or swallow, please go to the emergency room (ER) ASAP.
